OMG it is beautiful. What techniques did you use? Did you use a stabilizer? What kind of thread did you use? Can you tell I have been experimenting with thread painting myself lately?
Thank you. I used free motion quilting (darning foot with lowered feed dogs). The thread is a mixture-Coats multi-colored hand quilting thread for the redish grass and brown grasses; the greens were regular Coats (I discovered I could thread 2 spools onto the same needle for twice the fun); and then a tan colored cheep brand (.39 cent spool) for the wind.
