Bearry Fabric Postcard
I thread painted this one. I discovered that I could put 2 different colored threads onto the same needle. I have 2 spool holders, so that helps. Boy, does it ever "paint" fast and you can use 2 tones of color! Love it.
I added some scruptious 3 toned glass seed beeds (that I bought from Etsy) as berries. I also added bead buttons and eyes.
SOLD

Purple Wallhanging
This is a wall hanging that I made for my daughter. She wanted a Barbie wall hanging, so this is what I came up with. It is paper pieced, my own pattern, from a picture in a Sears catalogue.

Queen Mab Fiber Art Postcard
Queen Mab is decked out in her finest petals for the spring festivities.
Her face is hand drawn and the skin is highlighted with pencil crayons. Her body and clothes are individually cut and machine appliqued. She has "real" hair and a jewel in her crown. Thread painting and extra glitter accentuate this piece of fiber art. It has a printed card stock backing.
As with all my postcard art, it only requires a basic postage stamp to be mailed.
Materials: 100% cotton, jewelry, glitter, threads, card stock
$15.00

More mail
This is a handmade card from my mother-in-love. She pressed these flowers-probably from her own garden last summer. :)

Butterfly Postcard
I made this butterfly card for my aunt Gloria who is undergoing cancer treatment. Since she lives close by, I took a chance and glued some "jewels" on the butterfly. I used regular white glue, but I wonder if crazy glue would be better. I know that a glue gun doesn't work, since I received a postcard with parts missing due to this technique.
Anyone know what works best?
I also did a bit of thread painting on the butterfly's wing in dark blue. Fun!
