My computer has died, so it may be a while before I can get back to my blogging. Merry Christmas and happy new year to all of you!

Snowflake
I made this snowflake using the same folding/cutting technique as paper ones. The snowflake is fused and embellished with a foil snowflake and beads. The edge of the postcard has trim sewn on.

Postcard-Bathtime
This is the last postcard in a series (My Favorite Things). Nothing like soaking in the tub to relax. :)

Fabric Christmas Card
This is a Christmas card I made today. I used a card witha photo slot, inserted fabric covered cardboard, and glued (glue stick) fussy-cut fabric objects.

Under Construction
This is the beginning of take #4 of a contest quilt block I'm trying to make. So far so good.
I can't stick with something tried and true-Oh no, I have to go and reinvent the wheel...and find a better way of doing it. :)

What I'm Working On
This is my third attempt at a pattern I designed. It is working much better but still has some problems. I've discovered that the puckering is caused by the purple not being cut on the bias properly. I also don't really like the fabric in the middle (the star). Kinda clashing....
Back to the drawing board.....

Double Wedding Ring Douvet Cover
The rings were paper pieced and then machine pieced together (set in seams and curved piecing). I picked fabrics that reminded me of both Isabelle (my sister) and Clayton (her husband). The butterflies were iron on transfers that I free motion quilted over in variegated thread. The cream sections of the quilt were free motion stippled with white thread.
