I finished my crib sized African quilt for some friends of mine who are expecting another child. I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out. See the post below for more accurate color and details.

Another project on the Go
I love starting projects-here's my latest. It is going to be a crib quilt for some African friends of mine.
These are just a few of the blocks. Most of the patterns I discovered in my box of cookie cutters. The rest I cut out from online coloring books or googled images.

I can't wait to see the whole thing put together. :) The shapes are fused and machine appliqued.

News and New Mail!!
I've decided to close shop at Etsy for the time being. I am still sewing and crafting, though. :)
Here are some postcards I have received:
I'll add the others after blogger pic loading issues are ironed out-arrgh!

Sewing Tips
♥ Sewing tips:To find out if your fabric is really 100% cotton, burn a small piece. If the remaining edge is smooth, it's 100% cotton. If it is crinkly and melted, it contains some man-made fibers.♥
